Do you want to work on the most complex vessels around and be part of the green/sustainable development within the maritime industry? And do you have an engineering background or have worked on board of vessels as marine engineer but want to work onshore as design engineer? We would like to get to know you.

As Engineer Marine Systems and Machinery you are responsible for the design and layout of machinery and ship related systems for new vessels as well as big conversions of vessels. You will be working on a big variety of designs and engineering projects of all ship related systems on board of vessels. Based on client specifications, safety regulations and standards you design the system layout of the ship with their piperouting, design arrangements of technical spaces like engine and pump rooms, make calculations for pump systems, drive systems, propulsion systems etc. and translate them to 3D models and 2D designs. Systems you can think of are fuel, water-extinguishing, cooling systems, propulsion, system diagrams etc.

For this role we’re looking for someone who has already some engineering experience in marine systems design or who has gained the practical experience on board and is looking for an engineering job onshore.  You would like to develop in the upcoming years to a technical expert in the field of marine systems and machinery, where you have a great interest in the green/sustainable developments within the maritime industry.
