Finance-HR administration/Office Support (0,8 FTE)

Vuyk Engineering is looking for a finance/HR administrator who can oversee the daily operations of our office in Malaysia, focusing on financial administration. You will be responsible for day-to-day finance activities, and you will monitor the payroll processing and make sure everything is filed correctly. You will also be overseeing some HR functions such as maintaining personnel files, keeping up with local regulations and processing staff claims for insurance purposes.  You will have the freedom to identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.

Additionally, secretarial assistance is needed occasionally for office administration tasks and facility management such as small maintenance and taking care of office supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing financial administration and reporting and ensuring accuracy of financial data.
• Managing HR functions such as maintaining personnel files, payroll and processing staff claims
• Handling office administration tasks, including procurement, facility management, and maintaining office supplies.
• Ensuring compliance with local financial and HR regulations.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements.

Qualifications:

• A recognised Diploma/Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Approximately 5 years of experience in administration
• Good communication in English both verbally and written
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
• Organised, thorough, accurate, and eye for detail
